With all the rush to deliver packages before the holidays, a Portland couple wanted to thank a UPS driver that went above and beyond.
Andy and Melissa Morrison ordered an IPad online to keep their son occupied during a recent flight.
When the package didn’t arrive as scheduled, Andy called UPS to find out what the holdup was.
It still hadn’t showed up at their home on the day of the flight, so he said he figured it wouldn’t make it.
Yet a driver made a special trip to make sure it arrived in time for them to board.
“They actually met us down at the airport, right before we got on the plane,” Morrison said.
The family said that with so many customer complaints this time of year, they wanted to salute a business for coming through.
